VACCHO’s Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) COVID-19 Vaccine Vans are travelling around Victoria providing additional vaccination resources and support to our Member organisations.
Two dedicated ACCO COVID-19 Vaccine Vans were launched in 2021 to make the COVID-19 vaccine more accessible for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their communities in Victoria.
The Vans, which are run in partnership with cohealth and our Member organisations administer first, second, third / booster doses. Child vaccines for children aged 5-11 years old are also available. Outreach and door-to-door services are also available at some residencies.
Check out the events calendar below to see if the Vans will be coming to your local ACCO.
NOTE: If you are very sick or your COVID-19 symptoms persist or get worse, please seek medical attention immediately by contacting your doctor or going to your nearest hospital emergency department.
