VACCHO State-Wide Aboriginal Health Worker and Practitioner Gathering 2025

VACCHO invites you to join us for the 3rd VACCHO State-Wide Aboriginal Health Worker and Practitioner Gathering 2025. This gathering is for Aboriginal Health Workers and/or Practitioners (inclusive of trainees) working in both an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) or mainstream health setting and participate in the VACCHO Aboriginal Health Worker and Practitioner Network. Our gathering is designed to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, insights, and experiences among Aboriginal Health Workers and Practitioners from across the health sector in Victoria. This event will provide a platform for you to engage with fellow professionals, learn from distinguished presenters, and participate in enriching cultural workshops. Federal Community Question Time

VACCHO in partnership with The Centre of Excellence for Aboriginal Families Wellbeing, Lowitja Institute and Clothing the Gaps are hosting Federal Community Question Time. This in-person event is a unique opportunity for Mob to come together to question Federal government candidates from numerous political parties on important issues impacting Aboriginal Communities in the lead up to the Federal election. The night will be hosted by Uncle Charles Pakana from Victorian Aboriginal News, with a big panel featuring; Independent Senator Lidia Thorpe, Greens Senator Dorinda Cox, Assistant Minister for Indigenous Health Ged Kearney and VACCHO CEO Dr Jill Gallagher AO.
