Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Partnership Forum

The second Aboriginal Health & Wellbeing Partnership Forum (the Forum) for 2023 will be held at Bunjil Place, Narre Warren, on the 6th and 7th of September 2023, with a dinner for attendees on the Wednesday.

The Forum is a strategic collaboration between the Aboriginal Community-controlled health sector, the mainstream health sector and the Victorian Department of Health. The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) is proud to foster this collaboration between all Forum Members and invited guests from the Health sector. Through building strong and sincere relationships, the Forum works to determine and action Aboriginal health sector priorities and advance health strategies to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria.

This Forum’s agenda will include a focus on the development of budget proposals for 2024-2025 , a visit to the Dandenong and District Aborigines Co-Operative Limited and a keynote from Minister Mary-Anne Thomas, MP, Minister for Health. We will be in touch with further details on the agenda as the Forum approaches.
