VACCHO Members deliver a wide range of primary health care services that complement their Community initiatives. These are embedded in integrated service models which are leading the way in the healthcare sector.

To support our Members and the valuable work they do for Community, VACCHO advocates for improved funding and system integration to support our Members.

VACCHO works tirelessly to learn from health promotion and primary health programs to amplify the voices of Members and achieve primary health system change.

We are currently working on the implementation of On Solid Ground, to highlight Member’s priorities for further funding and reform in key primary health areas.

Key Work:

Primary health advocacy has been pursued through a range of submissions and projects in conjunction with other portfolio areas. It connects to the recent work undertaken with the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Partnership Forum.
Medicare MBS and GP services has been an area of focus for advocacy.
