The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) has welcomed a State Budget announcement of $4.4m in funding to improve social and emotional wellbeing in Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander communities during the critical recovery phrase of COVID-19.

A historic report to be released today marks the first time in Victorian history that Aboriginal voices will be embedded into Victoria’s mental health system, a long overdue piece of work to support healing in our Communities.
