Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the formal assessment of skills, knowledge and competencies already obtained through formal or informal study, experience in the workplace, life experience including voluntary work, domestic or social activities.

Credit Transfers will apply where students provide original or certified versions of Statements of Attainment for the same unit of competency achieved at another RTO.

Complaints and Appeals

If you are not satisfied with any training services offered by VACCHO or have a complaint about any matter related to your training program please contact VACCHO as soon as possible. Telephone or email contact is acceptable. Please email the Director Education and Training Unit or Manager Education and Training Unit at training@vaccho.org.au, all complaints will be acknowledged within 7 working days.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

From January 1, 2015 all VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector students, whether new or ongoing, are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)

A USI is a reference or account code made up of letters and numbers that enables students to access their training information. It is free and available online. It stays with a student for life.

A student enrolled in nationally recognised, accredited training must have a USI in order to be issued with a VET qualification or Statement of Attainment.

The training provider can assist at the point of enrolment. Alternatively, students can apply directly online.
